Together with nine other companies from Poland, we took part as exhibitors at Freskon 2025 trade show in Thessaloniki, Greece. We participated in this event as part of the Poland Tastes Good programme, which is one of the key activities of the National Agricultural Support Centre (KOWR)- a government agency supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In Poland, KOWR is the main entity implementing promotion policy instruments in the agri-food sector, and the Poland Tastes Good brand itself is a guarantee of taste and is synonymous with Polish food products of the highest quality. It is also a response to the growing demand for healthy food, produced with respect for the environment, based on traditional technologies and production methods.

This makes us all the more proud that we were able to participate in such a unique initiative, and that KOWR has recognised the values in our Aronia Eggert brand, which it itself implements as part of the Poland Tastes Good programme.

The Polish stand at the Freskon 2025 trade show in Greece, financed by the Fruit and Vegetable Promotion Fund and organised by KOWR in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Athens and the Greek-Polish Chamber of Investment and Trade and the National Union of Fruit and Vegetable Producer Groups, was visited by hundreds of people. There we met buyers, suppliers and also Greek fruit growers, who turned out to be very close to us. Like us, they seek markets for their products,  putting a great deal of passion, energy and commitment into their work.

The ceremonial opening of the Polish stand on 10 April was attended by Michał Kołodziejczak – Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Konstantinos Tsiaras – Minister of Agricultural and Food Development of Greece, Jan Szopiński – Deputy Director General of KOWR and Wojciech Ponikiewski – Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Polish Embassy in Athens.

The Freskon trade show is one of the largest events of the fruit and vegetable industry in the Balkans and South-Eastern Europe region. Moreover, it is of great interest to companies in the industry –     including Polish ones. Last year’s edition attracted 267 exhibitors from 28countries. This year, the number has risen to 295.

In addition to our official objectives at Freskon 2025 trade show and the exchange of experiences with other Polish companies, our trip had another special dimension for us. This year, Aronia Eggert is celebrating its 50th anniversary. On this occasion, we have prepared a unique product, which premiered at the trade show -a premium version of aronia juice, which resembles wine!

However, it does not contain a single gram of alcohol. We created it to cater for the growing number of consumers who are giving up alcohol but still want to attend ceremonies and social events. Our “Aroniowe Niewino” received an enthusiastic reception from the organisers, representatives of other companies and consumers visiting our stand.

We are looking forward to more trade show adventures! We keep our fingers crossed for all those who, like us, care about market development, the quality of Polish products and the proud representation of our country on the international arena!
